Manifesto for Essex
Commissioned by Essex Book Festival, the Manifesto for Essex was compiled over a year, containing scans from enviromentally focused zine workshops and long table discussions with young people across essex, artist contributions, panel talk transcriptions and workshop documentation. The final zine itself was printed on a a mix of Risograph print (with soya based inks) and inkjet, bound together by hand, with recycled paper covers made from zine workshop scraps, mulched and pressed into paper. Scans of the final zine were duplicaed on recycled natural paper, perfect bound, and were distributed across the UK.
The Manifesto for Essex played a large part in inspiring the Essex Youth Climate Summit.
